Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) funding

The Commission is an advisor to the Mayor. The function is to advise the Mayor of island-wide lands worthy of preservation and submit a prioritized list by December 31 of each year. The list shall include the significance of each parcel or entitlement, identify the reason for its priority, and its anticipated use after the acquisition and update this list at any time.

This nomination requested help to acquire an easement for public access to a peaceful outdoor stroll along a historic pathway where a miniature ʻpilgrimageʻ with 88 miniature shrines was located in the early 20th century.
